Cobalt frame warranty
Cobalt Bikes backs carbon hardtail, road and gravel frames with a lifetime frame warranty for the original owner, subject to the applicable warranty terms and exclusions. Full-suspension frames are covered for five years for the original owner.
Bikes and frames must be registered to submit a warranty claim. If you believe you have a manufacturing-related frame issue, contact Cobalt with the bike model, purchase information, photographs of the affected area and a description of what occurred.
Crash and rider damage
Crash, accident and other rider-caused frame damage is not a manufacturing defect. For qualifying damaged Cobalt frames, the existing Cobalt policy provides the original owner a replacement frame at dealer cost plus shipping. Contact Cobalt to review the specific case.
Shipping
For approved manufacturing-related frame replacements, the customer pays shipping to Cobalt and Cobalt pays return shipping within the USA. International replacement shipping may be split and customs fees may apply.
Please stop riding a bicycle if you believe the frame may be structurally damaged.
